Paula Patton is an actress and producer best known for her starring roles in the action-spy movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the drama film Precious. Her family was a middle class one located in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Her parents were a loving mom who loved watching movies. Paula took part in numerous co-curricular events at school however she showed an interest in drama. She was a huge fan of acting with her classmates and took part in her school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced a number of plays. The actor decided that acting was the career she wanted to pursue. She was enrolled in the University of Southern Calif's summer program, and enjoyed it immensely. The program offered her a three-month contract to produce documentaries on PBS. The first assignment was to be a production assist for TV documentaries, after completing her task. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. While she was awed by her work however, she always wanted being an actor. She started her acting career through a tiny character on the movie romantic comedy Hitch, alongside Will Smith. In the years since she's appeared in numerous movies and shows.
