Walker was born on June 26, 1976, at Philadelphia Pennsylvania United States of America. Walker is an American citizen who is of African descendance. She's born to Harvey Welker (a Native American father) and Julie Welker (an African-American mom). She is the daughter of an indigenous father and an African-American mom. Walker went to the Germantown Friends School located in Philadelphia's Germantown in 1994, and was awarded the diploma in 1994. She went to Harvard College, where she obtained a Bachelors in Arts degree. Welker is married to John Hughes a well-known marketing director for Merck in Philadelphia and they have two kids. The couple began a relationship during 2014, when they were together. John her husband is four years less than her. They decided to bring their relationship to a new stage because things were running so smoothly. They got was married on the 4th of March 2017. Philadelphia Pennsylvania hosted their wedding. In the Hyatt Hotel they had an extravagant wedding. Only close friends and family were invited to the party. About 300 guests were present.
