Samantha Mohr was born on 13 September 1961 in Columbus, Georgia. Virgo was her Zodiac sign. Mohr holds an American citizenship, and belongs to a white ethnicity. Mohr is a highly personal person with limited information about her childhood, including parents, siblings as well as her the time of her childhood. Mohr graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Science, in speech pathology. Additionally, she holds an audiology minor. She entered into the Miss Columbus pageant in 1985. After winning the title and kissing the crowned, she defeated all the contestants. As a result of her victory, Miss Georgia 1985 was qualified to participate for the pageant. She also won the tournament on June 22nd, 1985. Mohr then went on in September of 1985 to be a part of Georgia in Miss America 1986, a pageant that was hosted in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Although she won the title however, she did not reach the top 10 of national finalists.
