Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer, and vocalist. An attractive, clever and skilled actor, she's an inspiration to Asian actors who want to be big stars in Hollywood. After a series of initial appearances in some popular series she achieved fame by joining the cast of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the malicious Ling Woo. The new fame she gained was translated into roles for the big screen, in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and several other films. She then delivered an outstanding performance as Japanese criminal lord O'Ren Ishii in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Around the same time she also played leading roles in several film that did not make the top of the charts, like Rise: Blood Hunter. For animated films such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell as well as others, she voiced prominent characters. Mia Mason's small-screen role on Cashmere Mafia did not produce the desired results. Southland was a critically acclaimed series of police dramas that included Liu in multiple parts, helped to establish her role as an actress. Liu has a lot of care when choosing her roles to ensure she isn't a victim of stereotypes. While she embraces her roots, it hasn't limited her in her professional work being an artist.
